Tour
begins with a 30 minute ride in air-conditioned vehicles
to the canal town of Gamboa. After visiting Gamboa we
will board a boat, which will take us to Camino Las
Cruses, once used by Spaniards and also used during
California's gold rush. On this photographing safari
you will see numerous species of birds, howler monkeys,
sloths, turtles, crocodiles and other tropical
wild life for which Panama is famous. We will have lunch
and beverages and the tour will end around 4 p.m. with
a return trip to Panama City. The town of Gamboa sits
on the shores of water used for the canal operations.
Ships navigate this body of water to get across the
isthmus 365 days a year and 24 hours a day.
